This TVLP competition ran in February 2021 to showcase and celebrate the baking abilities and creative skills of students from across our schools. 

The theme was ‘Spring’.

Entries from 13 pupils at Holyport College, The Langley Academy, Slough & Eton Church of England Business & Enterprise College, St Joseph’s Catholic High School, St Mary’s School Ascot, and The Windsor Boys’ School were shortlisted for judging. All of these are included in the competition video below.

OVERALL WINNER: Aiza Rashid, The Langley Academy.

A 6 layer checkerboard cake with white fondant icing and handmade fondant flowers to decorate. Grass was drawn on to add to the spring theme.

This cake was selected as the winning entry and stood out to our judge, Lady Waldegrave of North Hill, OBE, as it was “sensationally pretty and exceptionally professional”.
